JailBird is now on Amazon!
over 2 years ago – Fri, Nov 19, 2021 at 08:55:25 PM

Hello JailBird Family!

We hope that those of you who have received a copy of our game have been enjoying it! It excites us hearing about people having played our game, and liking it too!

We wanted to let you all know that our product is now listed on Amazon! With that said, going forward we will be focusing on that platform, as opposed to the prior storefront run by BackerKit. So if you’re thinking of getting a copy for someone throughout the holidays, make sure to use this link!

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DB7LS71

You can also search for “jailbird game” to find us, but it might be easier to use the above link.

Since we are having orders fulfilled by Amazon, we have no say over their international shipping rates and any additional fees they will charge you for orders outside the US.

If anyone has any questions, please feel to reach out to us, as always, at [email protected]

P.S. For our backers in Australia, please keep an eye on your inboxes for an update from the team regarding the progress of your orders.

With Love,

The JailBird Team

JailBird's are en route!!
over 2 years ago – Wed, Sep 08, 2021 at 02:54:51 PM

Good news everyone!

JailBird orders for the US and EU are out and shipped, courtesy of the USPS! (We're experiencing some difficulty with our friends in Australia, I'll make a quick trip to the post office today/tomorrow to make sure they get sent)

If you're based in the US and have completed the survey and given us your address via backerkit, you should be set and will soon be getting your rewards for backing us!

Here are a few images of our team of helpful volunteers getting them out:

Packages loaded in the truck!

We have a few packages to send based on some address errors/changes (and out to AU), but we are almost finalized. If you're suddenly realizing you haven't filled out the survey or given us your address via backerkit, send us an email at [email protected]. We want to get you your game!

In the meantime, if you receive your game (and love it) let us know! Share in a comment on the Kickstarter page or post and tag us on Facebook or Instagram(@jailbirdgame). Thanks for your support, and we're excited to finally get the goods to you all!

The JailBirds have landed!
over 2 years ago – Thu, Sep 02, 2021 at 12:19:30 AM

We're thrilled to announce that after much waiting and inquiries, we have received the copies of JailBird! We have gathered a team of ferociously passionate shippers and will be packaging them this Sunday (Sep 4th) and have scheduled a USPS pickup for this Tuesday. From there, JailBirds should be flying out all across the world to you! (If you have not filled out your survey or locked your shipping, now's the time to let us know. Send us a quick email)

Behold, the Great Wall of JailBirds (with some storks for address censoring 😏)

When we create and print your shipping label, you should get an email with your tracking number. Look out for that this upcoming week, and let us know if you have any questions or comments!

Shipping updates for Singapore

JailBirds have been received by our team in Singapore and should be sent out over the next week or so.

Stuck in a US port 😐, shipping in India done, and other shipping updates!
over 2 years ago – Thu, Aug 19, 2021 at 10:35:37 PM

Hi everyone! Want to bring a quick update on the status of your games.

How our shipping teams are broken down:

We have three teams, stationed in the US, India, and Asia-Pac region, respectively. The India and Asia-Pac teams are delivering for their specific regions, while the US team is delivering to the rest of the world, be it US, EU, Australia, or anywhere else. Here are updates respectively:

Updates from respective teams:

US, EU, and the rest of the world:

The order has reached US soil, but has been in port since July. We left it alone for a couple weeks knowing that clearance was going on, but our estimated deliver date is still pending, and we've reached out to Fedex. From what we've gathered, Fedex has created the shipping label but haven't yet received the package- meaning the package is either still in clearance or stuck in port for some other reason (we are still digging into it). Other teams we know are also experiencing this lengthy time in clearance. We will let you know as soon as Fedex (or we) receive it.

Asia-Pacific Team:

Teams in the Asia-Pac region have received copies (as they were close to the manufacturer) and have started delivery. We should complete this soon.

India:

We've completed and delivered all orders in India!

Stay tuned for shipping updates, and thanks for your patience.

JailBird in Ships and Planes!
over 2 years ago – Thu, Jul 15, 2021 at 11:28:13 AM

Hi folks!

We're thrilled to announce that copies of JailBird will begin shipping in China and Singapore and the bulk of packages are in ships heading to the US (and a few to India), where they'll be sent on to the rest of you in the US and EU.

We'll also be charging cards to lock down shipping costs in the next few days, and then will have a more concrete shipping window to give you guys of when you should receive your copy.

Keep in mind that what you will be charged will be lower than what you ’paid’ at checkout. This is due to us adjusting rates to fit what current shipping markets reflect (the rates we initially put were a buffer in case COVID had a major effect on the shipping industry).

Once again, we’re really sorry for the delay and a massive thank you to everyone for being so patient and understanding. Running a Kickstarter for the first time is a big learning curve even outside of a pandemic, and we could not have done this without the support of each and every one of you.

We are so excited for these games to get to you, and I can assure you they’ll be worth the wait!
