Our team is absolutely thrilled that we got funded! JailBird is now going to be a real game you can hold and hug and everything else that comes with being a physical object!
From now till the end of November we will be hard at work drawing custom cards (we got 200 to do 😅) and getting ready to place our manufacturing order. In the meantime, we still got a couple contests planned that you'll hear about soon. 😉
If you backed at the Boss Bird tier, expect to get an update tomorrow about submitting your photos for your custom cards. We need these soon so we can sketch, digitize, and form these into cards so we can go to manufacturing. Quickly now!
We're setting up a Backerkit to collect shipping and handle add-ons. If you missed our campaign, you can also make a late pledge there. Stay tuned, it should be up in the next couple of days.

It's time to unveil this very neato-burrito collaboration!🌯
We're partnering with our friend Brian Spence, the inventor of Throw Throw Burrito (an Exploding Kittens Game) to make JailBird the best game it could possibly be.
Brian has been in the game industry for YEARS as a game inventor and has licensed 40+ games to different publishers over the years. He's LEGENDARY and we're incredibly excited to be working with him. We'll be with Brian to ensure that our rules, gameplay/mechanics, and bird visuals are as fun as they possibly could be.
Seriously, we are PUMPED about this collaboration and you should be too! 😉
This also shouldn't affect the overall timeline too much- we have a generous timeline for getting through manufacturing and getting you JailBird. We'll do our best to bring you your copy before our estimated time (April), but for now, sit back, relax, eat some chicken nuggets maybe, and we'll keep you updated on our progress.

Hello all! We're coming into the final stretch of JailBird's Kickstarter Campaign, and we have a couple updates for you all:
HUGE HUGE THANK YOU to the Dice Tower for including this our campaign in their Crowdsurfing video this past week!!
We're working quick to get a pledge manager up and running post the campaign. These guys will handle all the late backs, as well as charge shipping when we get closer to shipping.
We really really wanted to add those 2 special cards to the game, and so we've lowered the stretch goal amount for the first reward to 120%, and the second to 150%! We didn't know how big to plan, as this was our first Kickstarter, but we really really want to get these cards out! Tell your friends and family about JailBird so we can get these special items to you!
